Sputnik Manitowoc

Backstage at the Meyer (dinner & show)

Event Description

**Dinner tickets must be purchased by Monday, May 11. Show only tickets available through showtimes.

In 1962, 13 pounds of Sputnik fell on 8th Street in Manitowoc — that part’s true. The rest? Pure comedy! When Mayor DFK (a dead ringer for JFK) and his Marilyn Monroe–ish secretary try to convince Russian agents Boris and Natasha to let Manitowoc keep the “space gem,” chaos and Cold War hijinks ensue. With officers Toody and Muldoon on the case and music from the early ’60s, Sputnik Manitowoc is out of this world!
