Ticket Star FAQs on Purchasing a Ticket

Do you have some question?

Hopefully the questions and answers below will help you out. If not be sure to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

How can I see where I am sitting for an event?

For your convenience there are general seating charts for the venues we manage located at Seating Charts

What if I have problems bringing up the seating map?

For your convenience there are general seating charts for the venues we manage located at Seating Charts

Why can’t I select an individual seat?

Because of the nature of the internet, many people are often attempting to purchase tickets to the same event at the same time. In order to give all customers fair access to all tickets, each seat is ranked within each price level and the ticketing system then sells the best available ticket on a first come-first serve basis.

If you need a specific seat location you would need to call Ticket Star at 800.895.0071 or stop by a ticket retail location.

Is there children pricing?

The age at which a child will require a ticket for admission to an event will vary from venue to venue, and from event to event. Please bear in mind that events specifically geared toward children (such as Sesame Street Live or The Wiggles) will almost always require children to have a ticket for admission. Concerts will require all patrons of all ages including infants to have a ticket.

To determine if a ticket will be required for your child, you may contact the Ticket Star Box Office by calling 800.895.0071.

How can I get a group rate on tickets?

Group rates for ticket sales are generally available through the venue for selected shows/events. Visit the group page for more info.

What is the process for purchasing ADA Accessible Seating Tickets?

If you or a companion need to sit in a special needs or ADA accessible area, you need to purchase tickets in person or by phone.  Special needs tickets are not yet available online.  For a detailed listing of the Resch Center ADA policy please click here.

How do I obtain a promotion and/or pre-sale code?

Most promotions are limited to certain price levels or areas within the venue. Promotion or pre-sale codes are targeted to specific groups of consumers, such as fan club members, e-Vent news subscribers or facebook and twitter followers. Access typically requires a password which is specific to each event and is provided to consumers directly through the promoters of the event, sponsors of the pre-sale or subscribers to our e-Vent news.

Codes cannot be provided to you by Ticket Star.

Can I re-sell tickets?

The resale of tickets may be subject to state and local laws and regulations. Any violation of such laws may result in your prosecution by such agencies. Ticket Star assumes no liability arising from your resale or attempted resale of tickets purchased through us.

Are all sales final?

All sales completed though Ticket Star are final. Our client venues do not allow us to refund or exchange any order once it has been confirmed, so please be sure you have selected the proper event and seat locations prior to completing your order. Once tickets are issued, they are like cash and will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen.  If an event is cancelled, refunds will be given per the procedure posted at that time on our website and/or via the press release.

What about ticket availability?

Ticket availability is subject to change. We are acting as a sales agent for venues and promoters. Tickets are also “locked” (not available) for a short time while customers complete their purchase. If a customer does not complete his or her purchase, previously locked tickets are released and made available for purchase. For these reasons and others, the tickets available for a given event can, and do, change rapidly. If you are unable to find tickets to an event, please check back again. Once your purchase has been completed however, we are not allowed to exchange or refund your order even if additional tickets become available at a later date.

Are there ticket limits?

In an effort to give all interested customers an opportunity to purchase tickets to an event, venues and promoters often set limits on the number of tickets one customer or household is allowed to purchase. You will be advised of any limits on tickets by a posting on the “buy” page for the event or by a system limitation on the number of tickets you may purchase during your online session.

What is WILL CALL and where is it located?

If you are planning on picking your tickets up in advance, WILL CALL is located at the box office in the Resch Center.
If you are going to pick them up right before the event, WILL CALL is located at the box office at the venue the event is at.
If it is Game Day parking, and you are picking up right before the game, WILL CALL is at the entrance of the lot you purchased.
WILL CALL will require the person picking the ticket up to have identification proving they are the person who ordered, or a person with the same last name or street address.

What is the camera policy for events?

The ability to bring cameras and other recording devices varies per event. Please call the box office at 920.494.3401 or 800.895.0071 one week prior to the event you are attending.  If cameras are allowed, most events allow only a small digital camera that can fit into your pocket.

Does Ticket Star sell Gift Certificates?
