Comprised of Fond du Lac natives Ben Baker and Michael Stensland, The Astronomers challenge the alt-pop space with their synthesis of unconventional elements in each track.
The duo’s second single “Hotel Rooms” off their upcoming project has received substantial play on Wisconsin radio stations, including 101.1 WIXX, reaching #1 while currently in their power rotation. Lead song “Overthinking” from their Sophomore EP “Guess it’s Just Life” reached #1 on top nine at 9.
The Astronomers, paired with bass player/co-producer Ike Holzmann and drummer Josh Guy produce a dynamic, energy-filled performance, headlining venues including Titletown Green Bay and The Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin to 500+ attendees.
“Turn Out Fine” featuring LA-based artist Sammy Rash amassed over 150,000 Streams in its first month, while also landing an editorial from Spotify on “New Pop Picks” playlist. The duo’s latest single “Like The Holidays” was released last July.

Parking is FREE after 6pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday in the Cherry Street Ramp located at 202 Cherry Street (entrance on Cherry between Washington & Adams).
