Out of the Blue

Event Description

Book & Lyrics by Erin Hunsader
Music by Haesun Suh

OUT OF THE BLUE, a musical, follows the story of Jenny, a sarcastic 16-year-old Korean girl who was adopted when she was 6 to a family in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her life is pretty normal for a teenager. She’s getting straight A’s, dating a nice guy and hanging out with her quirky best friend, Betty. But when the show opens and Jenny discovers that she’s pregnant, her calm, Midwestern life suddenly becomes quite complicated.

A concert reading as part of World Premiere Wisconsin - a statewide festival celebrating new plays and musicals.
