Motongator Joe and Monica Giles Benefit Concert

Presented by White Paws German Shepherd Rescue, LLC

Motongator Joe - Americana, Outlaw Country

“Motongator Joe is signed to a big Nashville label not because of luck... they were impressed with what he did Motongator Joe has honed his entertaining skills since a very young age while touring and playing in anumber of Grand Ole Opry and chart-topping star country bands – and he has the stories and scars to prove it.  He is an aggressive entertainer who has NEVER missed a show (over 2500 and counting).

Joe’s background from childhood was of poverty and self-reliance.  The life he lives now is of gratefulness, awareness and respect of the world that surrounds him.  He methodically tours with a very keen eye on the job at hand and a relentless work ethic.  Joe lives “off-grid, off the land, and answers to no one but God herself”

Monica Giles - Americana, Indie Folk, Singer-songwriter

Monica is an artist from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  She has taken her experiences from life thus far and created a repertoire that reflects just that.  Her song choices and level of performance will give you an intimate look into the world from her eyes.

In 2011, Giles began touring with The Snake Oil Salesmen and released her first demo album.  This initial run at a musical career was cut short, however, when she decided to go to college, graduating in 2014.  Giles taught herself to play the guitar in 2014 and began playing on her own later that year.  Since then she has been focused on learning and writing new material.  In 2016 she released her album, Paying Rent.

About White Paws German Shepherd Rescue:

Your sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised through this concert will support the needs of the dogs that we rescue.

White Paws German Shepherd Rescue is a licensed non-profit 501c3 organization run solely by volunteers dedicated to the German Shepherd Dog breed.  All monies collected are put toward helping the dogs to find a better life.

In 2017 we saved 212 dogs, 180 of which have been placed into forever homes.  43 dogs were in fosters homes at year end, receiving love, attention, medical care and behavioral training until they get adopted.

Most of the dogs we save are strays or have been abandoned by owners.  We take in dogs found in dumping grounds, owner surrenders, shelters and many other bad circumstances from 22 states in the Continental U.S.

We are one of the few rescues who will take in not only healthy, but sick and disabled dogs as well.  We do not discriminate regarding health status or age of the dogs we take in.  Many of our rescued dogs have eye disease, stomach issues, hip or knee problems,
mange, heartworm, and a host of other issues. We do our utmost to treat them
all for whatever ailments they suffer from (if any) and will only adopt a dog once
it has been medically treated to the best of our veterinarian’s ability.  However,
not all rescued dogs have health ailment but are simply in need of a new safe
and loving home.

We appreciate your assistance as we continue our work of caring for,
rehabilitating and rehoming dogs that have been neglected, abused
and/or abandoned.  With each donation, we are able to give these
dogs a leg up towards their forever families by leaving our care
healthy and happy.
