Green Bay Film Festival tickets are off sale through Ticket Star. All tickets and will call tickets, will be available at the venue starting Friday at 5:30PM.
Do you like going to Movies? Did you know the trend of filmmaking is moving toward the independent filmmaker? Imagine seeing the next blockbuster film here in Green Bay! You can come to one film or many and tickets are on sale now.
The Green Bay Film Festival is presenting 100 films on the weekend of March 1-3, 2013. These films are made by Independent Filmmakers from Wisconsin and Worldwide. Filmmakers from all over will be attending just to talk to you about their film! There are short films, features, documentaries, family films, Wisconsin films, social issues, and Native American!
The Festival has many special presentations you won’t want to miss! Here’s one just to tease you!
Opening Night Gala | 7 p.m. Friday, March 1. Celebrate the start of the festival with a screening of “The Story of Luke,” a comedy about a young man with autism who is on a quest for a job and a girlfriend. A Gala featuring musician Jeff Hinnendael will follow the film.
“Native American Indian: Culture thru film” Series | Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3. This two-day event will feature three films and include post-screening discussions with humanitarian experts and filmmakers. Sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Humanities Council.
All-star Packers Panel | 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2. After a screening of the new documentary “Last Day at Lambeau” – a look at the adoration and contempt millions of sports fans feel toward professional football star Brett Favre – a panel featuring journalists, a social psychiatrist and the filmmaker will discuss the theme in the film – the relationship between fans and athletes.
Screenwriting & Film Production Seminars | 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2. Jay Schillinger, president of NorthCoast Productions, will moderate twoFREE seminar discussions.
SAG-AFTRA Actors Workshop | 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3. At this FREE event, learn what it takes to make it as an actor in the film industry from professionals, including Rene Haynes, CSA, the Emmy Award-nominated casting director for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” and the TNT mini-series “Into the West.”
