Learning Objectives:

  • The components of integrated wellness and how mental health is affected by a cancer diagnosis and treatment
  • Common stress reactions when living with chronic illness and cancer
  • Assess stress reactions and safety concerns in clients with cancer, and how to foster resiliency and wellness in those clients on an individual level and with referrals
  • Recognize the signs of compassion fatigue in their own clinical practice and implement a reflective wellness approach
