Steps to Make a Difference

11th Annual Walk

With one small step, YOU can make a difference in your community. The money you raise in the Steps Walk had a real and immediate impact on local charities that address local needs.

The Phoenix Philanthropy Club’s student members choose the three nonprofit organizations to receive the benefits from the walk. This year’s organizations are Bay Area Humane Society, CP of Green Bay and Golden House.

Join us for the Steps Walk! Register to walk/run as an individual or get a group together and register as a team. Registration starts at 9:30am at the Mauthe Center on the UW Green Bay campus, the Walk starts at 10:15am.  The Steps Walk is along the beautiful Arboretum Trail that winds along the campus perimeter. Stop back at the Mauthe Center after your walk for some refreshments!

You can participate in the walk by walking or running just pay the registration fee. Can’t participate? Help with the event and volunteer with the club. We always need help. Just contact one of the officers or club members. Can’t attend? Make a donation. These three organizations can use all the help they can get. Whether it’s raising awareness for their causes or giving a donation to them, your contribution goes a long way.
