Presented by Emporium

The fall tour comes on the heels of the 25th anniversary of McKennitt’s award-winning 1991 release The Visit, which achieved Gold status in the U.S. (sales over 500,000) and globally has sold more than 1.5 million copies. The Visit will be released on June 24 under McKennitt’s own label, Quinlan Road, as a numbered 180-gram audiophile-quality vinyl record. It will also include a free digital download code. The 25th Anniversary edition is re-mastered by Jeff Wolpert, the award-winning Canadian sound engineer who recorded the original sessions, and pressed at Record Industry in the Netherlands.

McKennitt’s eclectic Celtic blend of pop, folk and world music has sold over 14 million albums worldwide. Her recordings have achieved gold, platinum and multi-platinum status in 15 countries on four continents. She has twice been nominated for a Grammy Award and has won two Junos, as well as a Billboard International Achievement Award.
